We are seeking a dedicated and passionate PYP Homeroom Teacher to join our dynamic educational team in India. The ideal candidate will have 2-6 years of experience in teaching, particularly within the Primary Years Programme, and will be committed to fostering a love of learning in young children. Responsibilities Design and implement engaging and challenging lesson plans that cater to the needs of diverse learners. Create a nurturing and stimulating classroom environment that encourages student participation and independence. Assess and evaluate student progress and adapt teaching strategies to meet individual needs. Collaborate with colleagues to develop and enhance the curriculum and school programs. Communicate regularly with parents about student progress and classroom activities. Participate in professional development opportunities to stay current with educational practices and methodologies. Foster a positive classroom culture that promotes respect, responsibility, and a love of learning. Skills and Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field; a Master's degree is a plus. Teaching certification or relevant qualifications in Primary Years Programme (PYP) teaching. Strong understanding of child development and educational methodologies, especially the PYP framework. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage students and parents. Ability to differentiate instruction and assess student learning in a variety of ways. Proficient in using technology to enhance learning and teaching practices. Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks and responsibilities effectively.
