Job Description Position: FLO Cold Refining Location: Jharsuguda, Orissa, India Department: Production & Operations Reporting to: Lead/Area Head Cold Refining Experience Required: 3 5 Year Industry: Manufacturing Position Overview: The FLO - Cold Refining role focuses on overseeing and managing Raw Material Handling, Sorting, and Cold Refining operations . The candidate will be responsible for achieving production targets, ensuring timely and quality sorting, maintaining machine uptime, and supervising shop floor manpower. Key Responsibilities: Oversee raw material handling, sorting, and cold refining operations to meet production targets. Supervise and manage shift sorters ensuring productivity, safety, and discipline. Coordinate manpower and machine availability as per production schedules. Ensure timely, cost-effective, and quality-focused sorting operations. Monitor the performance and uptime of all machines in the raw material handling and sorting/cold refining areas. Drive continuous improvement initiatives in sorting efficiency, material recovery, and process quality. Maintain safety standards and promote safe work practices among all shift personnel. Qualifications: Essential: Full-time Degree/Diploma in Science or Commerce from a recognized institute. Desirable: Degree/Diploma in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering. Experience: Essential: 3 to 5 years of experience in raw material handling, sorting, or cold refining operations in manufacturing industries. Preferred: Experience in metal industries with exposure to shredder and sensor-based sorting systems will be an added advantage.
