We’re on a mission to bridge crypto and usability—bringing powerful blockchain tools to the everyday user. Role Description This is a full-time remote role for a Head of Engineering at CoinCROWD. As Head of Engineering, you’ll take the reins of all things technical, from shaping the architecture and scaling engineering processes to shipping secure, performant blockchain-based products. You'll work closely with the founding team to define and build our core infrastructure, develop our native coin, and lead the engineering team through zero-to-one product milestones. What you'll do • Define the Tech Strategy: Architect and maintain the technical roadmap that supports our coin, dApps, and product suite. • Launch the Coin: Drive the design and development of our crypto asset, including protocol design, consensus mechanism, and tokenomics implementation. • Scale the Ecosystem: Build and oversee infrastructure for wallets, block explorers, staking platforms, smart contracts, and APIs. • Lead & Grow the Team: Hire, coach, and lead a high-performing team of blockchain developers, backend engineers, and DevOps experts. • Ensure Security & Compliance: Implement best practices in crypto security, smart contract audits, and compliance frameworks (e.g., KYC/AML if applicable). • Collaborate Cross-Functionally: Partner with Product, Legal, Community, and Founders to drive strategy, product-market fit, and go-to-market execution. • Push the Frontier: Stay updated with emerging Web3 trends and protocols, and integrate cutting-edge innovations into the platform. Qualifications • 10+ years of engineering experience, with at least 3–5 years in blockchain or Web3 leadership roles. • Deep expertise in blockchain infrastructure, protocol design, consensus algorithms, and smart contracts (Ethereum, Solana, or similar). • Strong coding skills in Python and or Solidity, Rust, Go, or other blockchain-native languages. • Proven track record in architecting and launching scalable, secure blockchain products from 0 to 1. • Cloud-native mindset with strong DevOps and system architecture knowledge (GCP, container orchestration, etc.). • Experience with key crypto security principles, key management, audit processes, vulnerability mitigation, etc. • Excellent leadership, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills. • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities. • Bachelor's or Master's in Computer Science or related technical field from Tier 1 institutes in India.
