The Finance and Accounts role is responsible for managing and validating key financial aspects related to inventory, cost of goods sold (COGS), and overall financial performance for all G3 Brands. You will work closely with various departments, including procurement, warehouse, and sales, to ensure accurate financial reporting, inventory management, and cost control. Your responsibilities will include validating COGS and inventory value calculations for all G3 Brands, conducting monthly reviews of inventory walk-throughs, segregating consumables, raw materials/packaging materials (RM/PM), gifts with purchase (GWP), and other items. You will also review purchase orders (POs) and inventory planning files based on stock levels, past sales, sales forecasts, and lead times. In terms of inventory management, you will review and validate open purchase orders against existing stock, conduct monthly trend analysis of purchase registers to validate COGS, ensuring consistency between landed and base rates, and analyze cost percentage relative to MRP at the item level. Additionally, you will review inventory aging for finished goods (FG), raw materials (RM), and packaging materials (PM), and develop action plans for aged inventory. You will be responsible for managing stock adjustments and sales returns, coordinating with the warehouse team and vendors to perform physical inventory counts, and developing action plans to address discrepancies. Tracking and reporting on COGS savings plans, developing SKU-wise MIS for unit P&L and purchase-to-sales conversion, and driving the implementation and use of SAP for the G3 Brand as the finance point of contact will be part of your responsibilities. Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting, acting as a liaison between finance, procurement, and warehouse teams to streamline operations, and improve financial accuracy are essential aspects of this role. Qualifications for this role include proven experience in finance and accounts, with a focus on inventory and COGS management, strong analytical skills, proficiency in SAP, particularly the Materials Management (MM) module, and excellent coordination and communication skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams. Preferred skills include familiarity with inventory management processes and supply chain operations, experience in SKU-level P&L management, and purchase-to-sales conversion tracking.,
