Cognition Design Studio is a creative workspace enthusiastic in practicing site specific - environmentally sensitive contemporary architecture. The firm strives to create design that inspires, approaching each project with an understanding that architecture has a unique power to influence lifestyle and society. Established in 2017 by Ar. Mohammed Fazil and Ar. Muhammed Faris, the firm currently undertake projects across Kerala and South India under various scale and typologies - including Residential and Luxury Residential Projects, Healthcare Projects, Commercial Projects, Educational and Institutional Projects, Hospitality Projects, Industrial Projects, Renovations etc. Works of Cognition Design Studio has been featured in numerous Regional, National and International publications. Role Summary We are hiring an Architect for our newly opened Calicut studio. This position is ideal for someone with 1–3 years of experience, looking to work on meaningful, detail-oriented architecture in a supportive team environment. Key Responsibilities Lead the team in conceptual and schematic design for residential and commercial projects Handle client, consultant and vendor interactions Produce architectural drawings, diagrams, and 3D models using AutoCAD, SketchUp and Lumion. Support in design detailing and construction documentation Collaborate with team members and consultants on project development Participate in site visits and site coordination Help prepare presentations and mood boards for client meetings Skills & Requirements B.Arch degree from a recognized university 1-3 years of professional experience Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Photoshop, Lumion and Vray Good understanding of materials, construction methods, and architectural detailing Strong design sensibility and visual communication skills Eagerness to learn, collaborate, and contribute to studio culture 📩 To Apply: Send your portfolio and resume to projects.cognitionstudio@gmail.com
