Job Description: We are looking for a skilled Lead Automation Engineer with deep expertise in SCADA systems and industrial automation, capable of leading end-to-end project cycles. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with various SCADA platforms, excellent database management skills, and strong knowledge in scripting languages. The role also demands strong leadership capabilities, as you'll be responsible for client interactions, project development, team management, and team training. Key Responsibilities: Oversee the entire project lifecycle, from initial client interaction to project development, final delivery, and post-implementation support. Work with and manage various SCADA platforms such as WinCC, Cimplicity, Aveva, Ignition, ABB, Rockwell, Zenon, and more. Supervise, guide, and train a team of engineers, ensuring successful project delivery and skill development. Engage with clients to understand their needs, provide technical consultation, and manage project expectations. Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including technical specifications, progress reports, and user manuals. Develop and implement automation scripts and control systems using VB Scripting, Python, and C to optimize processes. Have a strong command over SQL databases to manage, query, and integrate data with automation systems. Required Skills & Qualifications: Extensive experience with SCADA platforms such as WinCC, Cimplicity, Aveva, Ignition, ABB, Rockwell, Zenon. Strong proficiency in SQL databases and database management. Proficient in VB scripting, Python, and C (knowledge in these languages will be a significant plus). Ability to manage the complete project lifecycle, including client communication, team coordination, and successful execution. Experience in managing and leading teams of engineers, ensuring high-performance and skill development. Program and commission PLCs for solar/wind projects. Integrate SCADA, configure Modbus/Ethernet networks, ensure reliable data flow, troubleshoot field issues, and optimize system performance for renewable energy plants.
Key Responsibilities Sales & Business Development Identify, develop, and convert new business opportunities for SCADA, EMS, SaaS, and IoT solutions in the renewable energy and industrial sectors. Manage the entire sales cycle from lead generation to contract closure. Develop relationships with EPCs, IPPs, asset managers, and utility companies . Prepare and deliver impactful technical and commercial presentations to clients and partners. Lead techno-commercial discussions and prepare proposals, quotations, and tender responses . Marketing & Branding Build and execute digital marketing strategies to enhance Cogneta’s brand visibility . Manage and grow Cogneta’s presence on LinkedIn and other social media platforms . Create marketing collaterals — brochures, case studies, whitepapers, and campaign content. Represent Cogneta at industry exhibitions, trade shows, and global events . Leadership & Strategy Define and implement sales and marketing strategies aligned with company goals. Provide market insights, competitor analysis , and input to guide product development. Drive revenue growth and profitability through strategic partnerships and alliances. Mentor and manage sales & marketing team members.
