As a UI Developer with 6 to 7 years of experience, your primary responsibility will be to design and build reusable UI components while maintaining a scalable component library. This involves utilizing tools such as Storybook and design systems to ensure consistency and efficiency in component development. You will also be tasked with developing custom React Hooks that encapsulate reusable logic beyond the basic useState and useEffect functions. Optimizing component rendering and application performance will be a key focus, achieved through memoization techniques like React.memo, useMemo, useCallback, as well as code-splitting and lazy loading strategies. In addition, you will implement dynamic and nested routing using React Router v6+ to ensure seamless navigation experiences for users. Writing unit and integration tests for components using tools like Jest, React Testing Library, or Enzyme will be essential, along with maintaining code coverage to uphold quality standards. Collaboration with designers, backend developers, and QA engineers is crucial in delivering high-quality and maintainable code. This teamwork will enable you to contribute effectively to the development process and ensure the success of projects. This is a full-time, permanent position with benefits including paid sick time.
