Code Manager

Role Overview: As a Code Manager in the Agile Train, your primary focus will be on ensuring code quality, consistency, and integration across the ART (Agile Release Train). You will play a crucial role in managing the codebase and influencing development practices to support the overall release delivery. Key Responsibilities: - Establish and enforce coding standards to maintain consistency in coding practices across all teams within the ART. - Manage code repositories and branching strategies to ensure smooth code management and version control. - Facilitate code reviews and quality checks to maintain a high-quality codebase. - Automate build and integration processes using CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, or Azure DevOps. - Manage code dependencies to ensure proper versioning and compatibility. - Support release engineering activities by handling merging, tagging, and managing release artifacts. - Promote code reuse and maintainability to support rapid and reliable releases. Qualifications Required: - Strong experience with Git or other distributed version control systems. - Expertise in build automation tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or Azure DevOps. - Proficiency in scripting languages like Python or Bash. - Deep understanding of code quality principles and practices. - Experience with static analysis tools and code review tools. - Excellent communication and collaboration skills. - Experience working in an Agile environment. - Familiarity with SAFe or other scaling frameworks is a plus.
