You are a highly skilled White Box Testing QA professional with 6+ years of experience and are sought to join the quality assurance team. You possess a deep understanding of code logic and database schema, allowing you to ensure the quality of software products through rigorous testing. This is a full-time position based in Hyderabad, with limited work-from-home options as per company policy. Your role will involve active participation in daily Scrum calls and collaboration with the team. Your responsibilities will include performing white box testing by comprehending the internal workings of the application, including code and database schema. Working closely with developers to understand and test code logic, identifying and resolving potential issues will be key. Designing and executing test plans, test cases, and scenarios to guarantee software quality standards, managing and maintaining up-to-date, comprehensive, and reusable test cases, analyzing and addressing root causes of issues will also be part of your duties. You are expected to exhibit curiosity, constantly seeking edge cases and areas for improvement, and communicate test results, issues, and risks clearly with both technical and non-technical team members. Active participation in daily Scrum calls for alignment with the development team, collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure testing aligns with project goals, and reviewing database schemas to validate database queries for data integrity and consistency are also essential tasks. To qualify for this role, you should have 6+ years of experience in white box testing, focusing on understanding code logic and database schemas. Familiarity with programming languages and tools like Python, JavaScript, and SQL is required. Experience with automated testing frameworks and tools will be advantageous. Strong communication skills are crucial for articulating complex technical issues clearly. Being curious, talkative, possessing excellent problem-solving skills, a detail-oriented and analytical mindset, and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment while taking ownership of individual tasks are key attributes.
