You will play a crucial role in designing developing and maintaining critical mainframe applications that support our organization's core business functions. Responsibilities: Analyze and understand existing mainframe systems and applications. Design develop and implement new mainframe applications and enhancements. Troubleshoot and resolve mainframe application issues. Optimize mainframe applications for performance and efficiency. Adhere to coding standards and best practices. Required Skills and Qualifications: Strong experience in mainframe programming languages such as COBOL JCL and Assembler. Familiarity with mainframe operating systems (e.g. z/OS). Knowledge of mainframe database management systems (e.g. DB2). Understanding of mainframe tools and utilities (e.g. ISPF TSO SDSF). Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Preferred Skills: Experience with mainframe modernization projects.
