Co-founder (Fashion Designer)

Buzzzest is a fashion brand that offers made-to-measure clothing and personalized styling recommendations. As the Co-founder & COO, you will play a pivotal role in managing the clothing operations, strategizing, and overseeing the division. Your responsibilities will encompass the entire design process, from conceptualization to the creation of meticulously crafted patterns. Your primary duties will include developing innovative fashion collections that resonate with the brand's aesthetics and current market trends. You will be tasked with transforming design concepts and sketches into technical flats and specifications, as well as creating and grading patterns for garments of various sizes to ensure precision and fit. Additionally, you will be responsible for sourcing high-quality materials that align with design requirements and functionality, overseeing sample production, conducting fit sessions, and refining patterns as necessary. To excel in this role, you should possess a Bachelor's degree in Fashion Design or a related field, along with a minimum of 2-3 years of experience as a Fashion Designer specializing in patternmaking. You must demonstrate a proven ability to translate design concepts into technical sketches and patterns, proficiency in patternmaking techniques, grading, and fit, as well as expertise in CAD and other relevant fashion design software. A comprehensive understanding of garment construction, fabrics, and a compelling portfolio showcasing your design and patternmaking skills are essential qualifications for this position. It is crucial to stay abreast of current fashion trends and garment construction techniques while working collaboratively with the co-founders to build the personal fashion styling business.
