In this role, you will not only bring investment to scale the business but also lead and oversee business operations to drive our mission forward. Position Overview: As the Director/Co-Founder, you will be instrumental in securing investments for the growth and expansion of our dental care startup. Your responsibilities will include raising capital, managing clinical operations, and overseeing business functions to ensure smooth day-to-day activities and long-term strategic success. This role offers a unique opportunity to become a co-owner of the company, influencing its future direction, and making a significant impact on dental healthcare. Key Responsibilities: Investment & Fundraising: - Lead efforts to raise capital from investors, venture capitalists, and other sources to scale operations and fund technology development, particularly in AI-based diagnostics. - Build relationships with potential investors, manage investment negotiations, and present comprehensive financial models and business plans to secure funding. Clinical Operations: - Oversee dental department management to maintain the highest standards of care. - Collaborate with clinical teams to enhance patient experience, operational efficiency, and service quality. - Implement best practices for clinical compliance, safety, and innovation in dental care. Business Operations: - Manage day-to-day business functions, including marketing, HR, finance, and expansion strategies. - Develop and execute market growth strategies, partnerships with hospitals, and new service launches. - Lead the team to achieve business goals, key performance metrics, and ensure sustainable growth and profitability. Strategic Leadership: - Define and implement the company's long-term strategy, focusing on scaling clinical services and integrating technology solutions. - Collaborate with the executive team to shape the company's vision and growth initiatives. - Identify new opportunities in healthcare and technology to drive innovation in service offerings. Team Management: - Lead and mentor cross-functional teams to ensure seamless coordination between clinical and business operations. - Foster a high-performance, collaborative work culture within the organization. Investor & Stakeholder Relations: - Maintain regular communication with investors, board members, and stakeholders to provide updates on business performance and strategic initiatives. - Manage financial reporting and compliance related to investment activities. Market Analysis & Competitive Strategy: - Stay updated on industry trends, market dynamics, and competitor activities to position the company effectively in the marketplace. - Develop and implement strategies to gain market share and enhance the company's competitive advantage. Qualifications and Skills: We are looking for candidates with: - Experience in securing investments and leading clinical and business operations, preferably in healthcare or technology. - Open-mindedness and comfort working in a startup culture. - A strong network of investors and stakeholders within the healthcare industry. - Entrepreneurial mindset with a passion for healthcare innovation and operational excellence. - Deep understanding of clinical operations management, particularly in dental or healthcare settings. - Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and guide cross-functional teams. - Excellent financial acumen with experience in building business plans, financial models, and investor presentations. - An MBA, MHA, or relevant degree in Healthcare Management, Finance, or Business is preferred. - Background in clinical practice, especially in dentistry or healthcare, would be highly advantageous.
