CNC -VMC SETTER

Job Summary:

The CNC VMC Setter is responsible for setting up and preparing Vertical Machining Centers (VMC) for production operations. This includes tool setting, program loading, and ensuring that components are machined as per specifications, maintaining productivity and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Read and understand engineering drawings, machining processes, and work instructions.
• Set up CNC VMC machines including fixture mounting, tool setting, and zero setting.
• Load and run CNC programs and make minor offsets or adjustments if required.
• Inspect the first piece and ensure it meets dimensional tolerances and quality standards.
• Monitor the machine during operation to ensure consistent production.
• Perform in-process inspection and document results.
• Troubleshoot minor issues related to machine setup or tool wear.
• Change worn-out tools and maintain tool life records.
• Ensure optimal utilization of machines and minimize downtime.
• Maintain daily production and inspection reports.
• Coordinate with the programmer and quality department for process improvements.
• Ensure proper housekeeping and 5S in the working area.
• Follow safety guidelines and company policies strictly.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹14,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
