Job Description

As a CNC Setter/Programmer, your role will involve interpreting blueprints and technical drawings to understand design specifications and translate them into CNC programs. You will be responsible for developing CNC programs by writing code that directs the CNC machine to cut, shape, and create parts. Knowledge of multi-axis programming is preferred. Some of your key responsibilities will include: - Setting up CNC machines by installing tools, adjusting machine parameters, and preparing the machine for operation. - Ensuring quality control by performing test runs, inspecting parts, and making adjustments to meet specifications. - Troubleshooting to identify and resolve issues with machine operation or programming. - Maintaining equipment through routine maintenance and repairs on CNC machines. - Optimizing machining processes to improve efficiency and reduce waste in production. - Collaborating with other machinists, engineers, and production personnel. - Engaging in continuous learning to stay up-to-date with new technologies and software.
