We are seeking an experienced Production Supervisor to effectively utilize people and machinery to achieve production targets. The ideal candidate will have a degree or diploma in Mechanical Engineering and a proven track record in a similar role. You will be responsible for managing the workforce, ensuring quality output, and maintaining an organized and safe production floor. Roles and Responsibilities Production Management : Effectively manage both people and machinery to achieve daily, weekly, and monthly production targets. This includes organizing workflows, assigning responsibilities, and preparing schedules. Team Leadership : Supervise and guide employees to ensure they meet the targeted output and maintain a results-driven approach. Quality Assurance : Ensure the desired quality is achieved in both manufacturing processes and the final products by checking output against specifications. Maintenance & Safety : Ensure the safe use of all equipment and schedule regular maintenance. You will also maintain good housekeeping on the production floor. Troubleshooting & Reporting : Handle day-to-day troubleshooting of production activities. You will also be responsible for submitting reports on performance and progress. Skills Required Education : A Graduate in Mechanical Engineering from a reputed institute or a DME (Diploma in Mechanical Engineering) . Technical Experience : Proven experience as a Production Supervisor or in a similar role. Hands-on experience in operating and handling VMCs (Vertical Machining Centers), HMCs (Horizontal Machining Centers) , and conventional machines. Experience in handling all types of inspection instruments. The ability to understand CNC (Computer Numerical Control) programs and make alterations or modifications. Good knowledge of cutting tools used in CNC machining centers. Technical Proficiency : Computing skills, including MS Office, E-drawing , and AutoCAD . Soft Skills : Good interpersonal, analytical, and problem-solving skills. Lean Principles : Exposure to lean principles such as TPM (Total Productive Maintenance) and 5S is an added advantage. Maintenance : Exposure to any kind of maintenance is an added advantage. Work Schedule : The ability to attend duty in shifts.

a) To get daily production targets for all manufacturing & assembly lines from Production Shift in-charge. b) Daily monitor the status & availability of manpower, Tools, inserts, jigs, fixtures & other consumables to carry out the production c) Daily arrange the production lines for manufacturing with required & defined resources (manpower, materials, tools, & consumables) within the 10min of shift start. d) To ensure the daily maintenance of machines are carried out. e) To engage qualified / skilled operators on all critical process. f) To monitor the production output on hourly & daily basis. g) To implement the control on 4M change. h) To assist operators in setting adjustments during change of tools and job setups. i) To ensure the operators are changing the tools & inserts as per their standard life. j) To ensure the PED engineers are carried out fixture calibration / audits as per the schedule. k) To monitor all the Poka Yokes working conditions in the line. l) Co-ordination with stores-in charge and other line supervisors for receiving of materials from stores and other lines respectively. m) To train the new & existing operators on respective process & products to improve his / her skill competency. n) To monitor the OEE for bottle neck / critical machines of the manufacturing & assembly lines. o) Analysis of Nonconforming process & products and to take corrective actions for the same. p) Analysis of production loss & to take corrective actions for the same. q) To inform Production Shift in-charge and DH-Production about nonconformities in shifts. r) Communicate all the daily production related activities to shift reliever through Log Book. s) To maintain & implement 5S in their department. t) To raise the Breakdown intimation slip when there is breakdown of machine. u) To change the Job setups from one machine to another machine if the machine is producing nonconforming parts / breakdown after getting approval from dept. Head Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills are needed to identify and resolve issues during shift Hours.

You should have 3 to 5 years of experience in Software such as EdgeCAM, CreoNC, Vericut simulation with all machining processes. Your knowledge should include various cutting tools, presetters like Zoller, TMS, TDM, and materials like Cast Iron and Steel. Your position-specific duties will involve CNC programming in EDGECAM, CreoNC software, machining simulation in Vericut, and tooling drawings and modeling in Creo & AutoCAD. You should possess skills in cutting tools and have a good understanding of Process Stage Drawings. It is mandatory for you to have advanced skills in Excel, Macros, VBA, Dashboards, MS-Access, WorkNC, SolidWorks, Computer Numerical Control (CNC) Programming, Autodesk AutoCAD, Creo Parametric, Edgecam, VERICUT, Siemens NX, R Programming, PowerMILL, CAM Software, and Microsoft Power Business Intelligence (BI).,
