Job Description

Role &

Set up and operate
CNC Plasma Cutting Machine
as per job specifications and production requirements.
Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and cutting plans
to ensure accurate dimensions and tolerances.
Load and secure metal sheets or plates on the cutting table safely and accurately.
Select appropriate cutting programs, torch height, gas pressure, and speed settings
for different materials and thicknesses.
Monitor the cutting process
to ensure quality, accuracy, and consistency of cuts.
Inspect finished parts using measuring tools (vernier calipers, tape, etc.) and maintain
quality control records
.
Perform
machine calibration, basic maintenance, and cleaning
to keep the machine in good working condition.
Identify and troubleshoot
minor machine faults or cutting defects
(e.g., slag, dross, incomplete cuts).
Follow
safety standards and PPE guidelines
while handling plasma equipment and materials.
Coordinate with the
production and maintenance team
for smooth workflow and timely completion of tasks.
