CNC Operator

CNC Operator Location: Bachau, Gujarat Experience Required: 2+ Years Department: Production / Manufacturing Industry: Steel / Engineering / Manufacturing Job Summary: We are looking for a skilled CNC Operator with over 2 years of hands-on experience in operating and maintaining CNC machines. The ideal candidate will be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining CNC machinery to produce high-quality parts in accordance with technical drawings and specifications. Key Responsibilities: Operate CNC machines (Turning, Milling, or VMC) as per production requirements. Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and work orders. Set up tools, jigs, and fixtures according to production specifications. Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of machines. Inspect finished products for quality and conformance using measuring instruments (vernier caliper, micrometer, etc.). Adjust machine settings as needed to maintain product quality. Maintain logs and records of daily production and machine maintenance. Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment. Collaborate with the quality and maintenance teams to resolve issues. Requirements: ITI/Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or relevant trade. Minimum 2 years of experience operating CNC machines. Familiar with CNC programming basics (Fanuc/Siemens preferred). Strong understanding of technical drawings and measuring tools. Ability to work in shifts and under production deadlines. Preferred Skills: Experience with CNC Lathe, VMC, or HMC machines. Basic knowledge of tooling and machining parameters. Problem-solving attitude and good teamwork skills.
