Preferred candidate profile

Take charge from reliever about machine condition & running work order (WO) status. To check input material & heat number on rough flange as per given WO To check machining drawing as per given WO To collect input material ( Rough flange ) from stock & Transfer to respective work cell. To check tools & insert condition before starting machining & replace worn out inserts. To check reference position of machine before loading flange. To check clamping pressure & clamping area of flange before operation start. To clear chips on jaws by air blow before every operation on all machines. To make marking block ready & check marking punches as per given WO for first piece To clean finished flange after completing all operations To check dimensions as per first piece approval check sheet by using measuring instruments e.g. Vernier caliper To check visual defects for 100% finish flanges e.g. Dent, scratches, Cracks, Black face, surface finish etc. To mark respective employee number on first inspected piece To monitor actual cycle time as per given standard cycle time on WO To identify defects in visual inspection, make necessary corrections in machine parameter to avoid defect generation. If corrections not known or possible then inform to shift supervisor. Mark rework pieces by marker pen and transfer to rework area in separate pallet with pallet card. To identify rejection in visual inspection & put identification on each piece by marker pen. To transfer finished flanges from machine shop work cell to final inspection stage with respective pallet card after completion of work order or at shift end, whichever happens early. To monitor machine operation for abnormality, if found inform shift supervisor immediately. To clean machine , scrap bin & machine surrounding area at end of shift. To submit duly filled production report to shift supervisor at end of shift. To maintain 5S score as per given target To handover tools & accessories to reliever at the end of shift as per appendix-A
