Monitor supplier performance using KPIs (PPM, NCRs, etc.) and implement improvement plans as needed. Review technical drawings, specifications, and material standards to validate supplier compliance. Support NPI (New Product Introduction) activities by ensuring supplier readiness and quality alignment. Participate in design and process FMEAs with cross-functional teams. Ensure compliance with industry standards such as ISO 9001, IATF 16949, or AS9100 (as applicable). Interface with engineering, procurement, and manufacturing teams to resolve quality issues efficiently. You must have any or a combination of any of the following skills: In-depth knowledge of manufacturing processes such as CNC machining, casting, welding, and forming. Strong understanding of GD&T, drawing interpretation, and metrology. Experience with PPAP, APQP, FMEA, and control plans. Proficiency with quality tools (8D, DMAIC, SPC, MSA).
