Preferred candidate profile Bachelor of Electrical/ Electronic Engineering Exposure to applicable testing and certification standards. Should have versatile knowledge in industrial products. Mechanical concepts understanding This position is also responsible for providing local expertise in one or more product categories and mentoring and training junior technical personnel. Proficiency and/or standards knowledge with machinery products (textiles, Special purpose machines, Machining centres and packaging & printing etc.), Laboratory and measurement equipment. Knowledge on Functional safety. Preference will be given for the candidates with Functional safety certificate (FSP, CMSE, CFSP, MSE, etc.) Provide local technical expertise and maintain reviewer status for the product categories assigned. Standards exposure to IEC 60204, ISO 12100 and Type A, B & C and Machinery standards, IEC 61010, UL 508, Power generation products and other national international standards. Assist with providing quotations for a large array of standards and complex projects and products. Perform preliminary design reviews (PDR) both on and off site. Provide complex sales support such as giving presentations during client visits. Communicate project status and test results to client, sales personnel, and management throughout scheduled projects. Provide on-going support to clients as needed.
