Job Title: Car Driver to the Registrar

Department: Administration / Transport
Location: Campus / Office
Reports To: Registrar / Administrative Office / Transport In-charge

Role Purpose

To provide safe, reliable, and timely transport support to the Registrar for official duties, while ensuring proper maintenance, cleanliness, and documentation of the assigned vehicle.

Key Responsibilities

Driving & Transport Support

• Drive the Registrar to official meetings, events, campus visits, and other work-related travel.
• Ensure punctual and efficient transportation while following assigned schedules.
• Assist with loading/unloading official documents or materials when required.

Vehicle Maintenance & Safety

• Conduct daily inspection of vehicle condition, fuel level, tyres, brakes, and cleanliness.
• Ensure periodic servicing and timely maintenance of the vehicle.
• Immediately report any mechanical issues, accidents, or incidents to the Transport In-charge.

Documentation & Compliance

• Maintain vehicle logbook for daily travel, fuel usage, kilometer readings, and service records.
• Ensure all vehicle documents (insurance, permit, pollution certificate, etc.) are updated.
• Adhere to all traffic rules, campus safety policies, and driving regulations.

Professional Conduct

• Maintain confidentiality regarding official discussions or information overheard during travel.
• Display respectful, polite, and professional behavior at all times.
• Maintain neat personal appearance and good grooming standards.

Qualifications & Skills

Education:

• SSLC / 10th Standard (or above).

Driving Requirements:

• Valid Light Motor Vehicle (LMV) Driving License.
• Minimum 3–5 years of professional driving experience (preferably in institutional / corporate environment).
• Good knowledge of local and intercity routes and traffic regulations.

Personal Attributes:

• Responsible, punctual, disciplined, and trustworthy.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle VIP/protocol duties calmly.

Work Conditions

• Flexible working hours as per Registrar’s schedule.
• Occasional early morning, late evening, weekend, or outstation travel.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹8,395.95 - ₹22,000.00 per month
