Role & responsibilities Perform 1st piece, in-process, and final inspections using CMM and other tools like height gauges, calipers, micrometers, etc. Create and modify CMM programs based on 2D/3D models Interpret 2D drawings and 3D CAD models with GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing). Prepare inspection reports, deviation notes, and maintain inspection records in line with ISO/TS/IATF standards. Ensure calibration status of measuring instruments and CMM is up to date. Assist during internal/external audits by presenting inspection records and evidences. Highlight non-conformities and communicate effectively with Production/Tool Room for corrective action. Conduct layout inspection for new product development and submit PPAP/FAI reports. Required Skills: Hands-on experience in CMM inspection (preferably Zeiss, Hexagon, or Mitutoyo CMMs). Knowledge of CMM programming software (e.g., PC-DMIS, Calypso). Familiarity with plastic injection moulding parts and tolerance requirements. Strong understanding of GD&T. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings. Basic knowledge of ISO 9001 / IATF 16949 quality standards. Good documentation and communication skills.
