Job Overview TE Connectivity's Quality Control and Reliability Teams ensure product and / or product components comply with specifications and quality standards. They test and inspect products against performance and integrity criteria to ensure product quality and reliability, and to determine the suitability of product release. Job Responsibilities Support various global TE locations for Geometrical and Dimensional Metrology of New products (First Article Inspection, Post Tool Correction Dimensional Validation, PPAP Measurement Reportsetc.) using different product measurement techniques like CMM, VMS, 3D Scanner etc. Regular interactions to define Metrology Feasibility and Strategy by understanding measurementrequirements/specifications from internal customers (Product Engineers / Mold Engineers) as per2D/3D drawings and CAD Models and effectively translating them into measurement programs in aMetrology Software. Responsible for quality & delivery of the reports. Adhere to the defined process but with a continualimprovement mindset. Demonstrate ceaseless efforts in reviewing the existing process to identifythe scope for improvement and support implementation. Effective management of workload in collaboration with the team members, considering forecast,employee leave plans, peak load situation etc. Knowledge sharing and mentoring based on teams operational requirements and strategies Improve the knowledge and skill in the field of product measurement and validation in terms ofGD&T ASME/ISO GPS. Work directly with our immediate customers and suppliers to ensure quality standards are met. Work with the line manager to set performance objectives based on Organizations roadmap, andreview periodically to obtain necessary feedback for improvement. What your background should look like: Overall 2+ years of experience in the areas of Metrology/Quality Assurance, in ManufacturingIndustries is preferable (3+ years for candidates with Diploma) Competent knowledge of GD&T (ASME / ISO GPS) concepts and experience with its application inproduct design and validation. Considerable Experience in any of 3D Metrology software like Volume Graphics, GOM, Polyworks, PCDMIS, Calypso etc. combined with latest metrology techniques including CMM, Laser/Light/CTscanning. Good to have RSO (RT-2) Certificate approved by AERB Should have in-depth knowledge on Industrial CT scan principle, advantages, challenges, Radiationsafety and timely closure of Nonconformities. Ensure the on-time calibration of all the radiation safety instruments Duty to share the Circular information from AERB and seek clarity.

Must have knowledge about Zeiss CMM machine Programming & Operating, Knowledge of Assembly, Inspection and testing.

Set up and operate CMM machines for inspecting parts and assemblies. Perform inspections using 2D/3D programs (PC-DMIS, Calypso, MCOSMOS, etc.).
