You will be responsible for supporting the Network Attached Storage (NAS) / Netapp platform, specifically focusing on Netapp 7-mode and cluster-mode configuration and support. Your role will involve having a strong understanding of Netapp Snap suite of products such as Snapmirror, Virtual Storage console, SnapManager for Oracle, SnapManager for SQL, as well as ISCSI, NFS, and CIFS protocols. Additionally, you will be tasked with configuring and supporting NDMP backups between Netapp and third-party backup products. You will also be involved in storage migration from 7 mode to Cluster mode using tools like 7TT and WFA. Knowledge in Windows clusters, VMware troubleshooting, SQL Clustering, and Virtual storage troubleshooting will be essential for this role. Your responsibilities will also include infrastructure support and project management, encompassing system design, planning, installations, configurations, upgrades, and collaboration with global teams for project deployment. You will be expected to provide storage infrastructure system management, which includes capacity planning, performance monitoring and tuning, and security management. Furthermore, you will be required to manage Tier-3 support following ITIL practices and incident management protocols. Your role will involve dealing with complex, enterprise-level NAS platforms in a mission-critical environment. You will also lead technical assessments of hardware, software, tools, applications, firmware, middleware, and operating systems to ensure they support business operations effectively.,
