As a member of the Nutanix Hypervisor Quality team, you will have the opportunity to contribute to the development of innovative solutions within the Nutanix AHV hyperconverged stack. Your role will involve conducting requirements analysis, designing test plans, and developing automation libraries to ensure the performance, scale, and reliability of the product. Working alongside a team of talented engineers, you will be responsible for executing automated and manual tests, triaging regression failures, and collaborating closely with the Development team to identify and address issues. Your proactive approach to problem-solving and your ability to innovate will be key to your success in this role. To excel in this position, you should have experience in test plan design, test case development, and automated testing using Python. Additionally, familiarity with REST APIs, networking concepts, and Linux Operating Systems will be beneficial. A minimum of 3+ years of Software SDET experience and a BS or MS in Computer Science or related fields are required qualifications. Desirable qualifications include experience in testing virtualization platforms, clustered/distributed systems, and QA automation framework development. Proficiency in using continuous integration frameworks like Jenkins/CircleCI and open-source tools for test development will be advantageous. This position offers a hybrid work arrangement, combining remote work with in-person collaboration. While most roles require a minimum of 2 - 3 days in the office per week, certain teams may have different requirements. Your manager will provide additional guidance on team-specific norms and expectations.
