As a Cloud Ops Engineer, you play a crucial role in designing, planning, creating, and implementing cloud-based software to streamline operations within the organization. Your responsibilities include: - Delivering and continually building on the standards of the squad. - Keeping infrastructure documentation current, including application to infrastructure mapping and asset relationships and dependencies. - Suggesting and recommending infrastructure enhancements to improve application performance, security, and resiliency. - Ensuring that every development adheres to the team's standards and policies, including peer reviews, security, monitoring, and testing. - Improving and maintaining tools for logging, monitoring, alerting, and operational metric dashboarding. - Developing and implementing automation tools to support CI/CD methodologies, and improving and maintaining development, stage, and production pipelines. Qualifications required for this role: - Bachelors or masters in software engineering, Computer Science, or other relevant discipline. - 4-6 years of experience in Cloud Operations. - AWS Certified SysOps Engineer. - Ability to drive and solve problems impacting critical security systems and implement automation to prevent reoccurrence. - Design and implementation of Disaster Recovery processes. - Analyzing and monitoring performance bottlenecks and key metrics to optimize software and system performance. - Acting as a subject matter expert on AWS. - Providing analytics and forecasts for cloud capacity and cost optimization. - Strong understanding of utilizing CI/CD pipelines to maximize quality in a development team. - Knowledge in API. - Strong communication skills - both written and verbal. You will be relied on by leadership and other technical specialists for advice and direction. - Providing productive contributions to the creation of the team's patterns.,
