Job Description

Role Overview: As a Software Engineer at Cisco Contact Center group, you will be part of a team passionate about delivering exceptional experiences to customers and employees. Your mission will be to design, develop, and maintain the Enterprise Contact Center product, focusing on enhancing the customer journey for both Premise and Cloud platforms. You will play a crucial role in translating product ideas into technically feasible stories and owning the product from a technical perspective, covering all aspects of architecture, design, development, and validation practices. Your impact will involve building scalable and reliable software systems, optimizing application performance, and ensuring end-to-end automation and quality assurance. Key Responsibilities: - Design, develop, and maintain the Enterprise Contact Center product - Translate product ideas into technically feasible stories - Be the technical expert of the product, covering all aspects of architecture, design, and development - Build scalable, reliable software systems with a focus on modularity and testability - Optimize application performance for speed and scalability - Provide end-to-end automation and quality assurance - Design and develop with seamless User Experience in mind - Envision and develop product/features with a positive impact on people's lives - Roll out features dynamically - Adhere to CI/CD pipeline practices Qualifications Required: - A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or equivalent work experience - 10-15 years of experience in designing, coding, and testing highly available and scalable applications - Strong analytical skills and ability to develop effective solutions for complex problems - Proficiency in Java, JavaScript, Python, Perl programming languages - Experience in server-side application development, automation frameworks, and APIs - Knowledge of operating environments such as Windows/Linux - Familiarity with design patterns, databases, Git source control, and CI/CD pipelines - Experience with RESTful APIs and Agile/Scrum-inspired delivery methodology Additional Company Details: Cisco celebrates diversity and inclusivity, where individuals bring their unique skills and perspectives together to power an inclusive future for all.
