Job Description

In the Cisco Contact Center group, we are dedicated to enhancing customer and employee experiences by leveraging software solutions to revolutionize the world of customer service. As a Software Engineer, you will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and maintaining the Enterprise Contact Center product for both Premise and Cloud platforms. Your responsibilities will involve translating product ideas into feasible stories, owning the technical aspects of the product, building scalable software systems, and ensuring optimal application performance. Your focus will be on delivering end-to-end automation, quality assurance, and seamless user experience. **Key Responsibilities:** - Design, develop, and maintain the Enterprise Contact Center product for Premise and Cloud platforms - Translate product ideas into technically feasible stories - Act as the technical expert of the product, covering all aspects of architecture, design, development, and validation - Build scalable and reliable software systems and features - Optimize application performance for speed and scalability - Provide end-to-end automation and quality assurance - Design and develop with a focus on seamless User Experience - Roll out features dynamically - Adhere to CI/CD pipeline **Qualifications Required:** - Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or equivalent work experience - 10-15 years of experience in designing, coding, and testing highly available and scalable applications - Strong analytical skills and ability to develop effective solutions - Proficiency in Java, JavaScript, Python, Perl - Experience with server-side application development in Java or Automation frameworks - Knowledge of Tomcat, APIs, operating environments, design patterns, and databases - Familiarity with Git source control, CI/CD pipelines, and RESTful APIs - Experience with telephony and media technologies is a plus - Familiarity with Agile/Scrum-inspired delivery methodology **Additional Company Details:** Cisco is committed to fostering an inclusive workplace where every individual's unique skills and perspectives contribute to our shared purpose of creating an inclusive future.
