Role Overview

We are looking for a

Cloud Security Administrator

to join our global infrastructure team supporting U.S.-based operations. This role is security-first, focused on enforcing best practices across identity, access, network security, and regulatory compliance frameworks (SOC 2, ISO 27001, HIPAA). The ideal candidate will also support infrastructure provisioning, monitoring, and automation on AWS and Azure, ensuring secure, scalable, and cost-effective operations.

Key Responsibilities

Cloud Security

Identity and Access Management (IAM)Network security (firewalls, NSGs, VPC rules)Threat detection and response (SIEM, IDS/IPS)Compliance (SOC 2, ISO 27001, HIPAA, etc.)Vulnerability management (e.g., Trivy, Qualys)Secure configurations and hardeningSecrets management (Key Vault, KMS, etc.)

General Security

Complete networking securityNetwork security (firewalls, NSGs, VPC rules)Threat detection and response (SIEM, IDS/IPS)Compliance (SOC 2, ISO 27001, HIPAA, etc.)Use of specialized tools to identify security risks

Cloud Administration (Secondary Responsibilities)

Provision and manage cloud infrastructure resources in AWS and Azure (VMs, storage, networking)Administer cloud-based databases such as Snowflake, PostgreSQL, and MySQL, with a focus on access control and data protectionAutomate infrastructure deployments using Terraform or CloudFormationMonitor performance, usage, and cost via CloudWatch, Azure Monitor, and dashboardsSupport CI/CD integration with DevOps teams to embed security in deployment workflowsMaintain infrastructure documentation, runbooks, and security operations playbooks

Preferred Qualifications

3+ years of experience in cloud engineering or security rolesHands-on experience with AWS and/or AzureStrong understanding of identity, network, and data security best practicesFamiliarity with compliance frameworks: SOC 2, ISO 27001, HIPAAExperience with security tools like SIEM (e.g., Sentinel, Splunk), Trivy, QualysProficiency in scripting (Python, Bash, or PowerShell) for automation
