Please send me your updated resume with below details. nagaraja.k@syniverse.com Working Mode :- Hybrid ( 2 Days week WFO) Work Location :- Hyderabad Only Details required :- Current CTC:- Expected CTC:- Notice period:- Current location :- Job Description A Cloud Operations lead is a technology expert responsible for the ops team management, monitoring of application and maintenance of cloud-based computing environment. The primary role is to ensure that cloud infrastructures, such as applications and web services, are available and running efficiently. Job description: 5 to 10 years of experience in managing Cloud Operations (preferably OCI Oracle cloud interface) engineering which consists of design, deployment, migrations & managing day to day operations. 9 to12 years experience in supporting project works preferably in a telecommunication environment. Build Virtual private cloud (VPC) and should be expertise in migrating one VPC to another. Need to have strong knowledge of cloud-based technologies, such as OCI Oracle cloud interface, Amazon Web Services and Google Cloud. Should be able to support for complex technical issues, which may include leading problem management, Incident & crisis management and providing management status. Analyze requirements and prioritize requests. Communicate with users and requestors to clarify requirements. Create programs and/or processes to satisfy requests. Participate in design and review of changes to database design to ensure changes meet required functional and performance requirements Install, monitor, maintain, support, and optimize all production server hardware and software. Knowledge Requirements Expert knowledge of UNIX system design (file systems, processes, multi-user operation, and basic non-admin UNIX commands (like cd, mv, ls, df, rm, cat, more, sort, vi, pwd, ps). Ability of scripts programming using the general UNIX shells (like ksh, bash etc.). Ideally knowledge of interpreter programming language like perl or python Knowledge of data transfer methods and commands (ftp/scp etc.) Solid knowledge of structured query language (SQL) for creating of database queries. Ideally deeper knowledge of Oracle database (operator level, no admin knowledge necessary) Knowledge of monitoring/alerting tool (ideally Prometheus/Grafana), ability to understand performance diagrams General knowledge in working with virtualized environments (in ideal case experience with VMWare, requesting and destroying of virtual machines using VRA) General knowledge of backup/archiving of retained data Willingness for overtaking of on-call tasks Overall knowledge of the basic non-admin UNIX commands (cd, mv, ls, df, rm, cat, more, sort, vi, pwd, ps)
