The ideal candidate for this position should possess the following skills and experience: - Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker, containers, OpenShift, and Kubernetes. - In-depth knowledge of Kubernetes concepts and architecture including deployments, pods, services, ingress, etc. - Experience in Low-code application development using Oracle APEX or Oracle Digital Assistant (ODA). - Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code tools like Terraform, Ansible, and automation pipelines such as GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins, etc. - Effective communication and presentation skills. - Ability to analyze problems, identify solutions, and make decisions. - Demonstrated willingness to learn, adapt, and grow professionally. Additionally, it would be beneficial to have the following skills: - Experience with Java or scripting languages like Python, Perl, etc. - Design and development of integration solutions using Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC). - Experience with OCI PaaS services such as streaming, Functions, etc. - Familiarity with cloud observability and monitoring. - Good architectural understanding of technical aspects of a cloud solution including networking, security, resilience, and connectivity. - Engagement with Technical Sales Teams, prospects, and customers to ensure business needs can be met with OCIs capabilities. - Keeping up to date with new OCI-based solutions or capabilities and understanding the functionality and interoperability across the OCI portfolio. - OCI Certification Foundation/Architect/Professional would be an added advantage. As an IC3 level professional, the responsibilities of this role include: - Leading and contributing to customer engagements to design and implement cloud-based applications/Low code solutions using Apex, ODA, OIC. - Deploying or migrating custom solutions into Container Engine for Kubernetes using automation and DevOps principles. - Utilizing tools and methodologies for efficient and timely migrations of cloud-native solutions with minimal disruption to business operations. - Collaborating with cross-functional teams like cloud architects, cloud operations, and application support for successful project delivery. - Creating and sharing technical assets such as white papers, solution code, blog posts, and video demonstrations. - Having a proactive approach to tasks, being a self-learner, and demonstrating a natural drive to learn and take on new challenges. - Working effectively in virtual teams, often requiring collaboration with colleagues from different countries. - Being comfortable in a collaborative, agile environment and adaptable to change with a positive mindset.
