Description
As a Cloud Native Developer at SAP Ariba Procurement Product Team, your mission is to work with the leading Infrastructure & Platform-as-a-Service (SAP BTP) to provide the world's leading cloud-based spend management solution. You will play a key role in unifying the SAP Procurement portfolio across SAP S/4HANA, SAP Ariba Applications & Business Network, and SAP Fieldglass. Your responsibilities will include: - Demonstrating superior technical leadership and communication skills - Performing development tasks independently and ensuring timely delivery with good quality and efficiency - Collaborating with teams across organizational and geographical boundaries to design and develop state-of-the-art software applications - Applying clean code principles, code reviews, unit testing, and other quality tasks - Familiarity with agile development methodology, CI/CD concepts, processes, tools, and methodologies - Understanding of Microservices, event-driven and CQRS architecture - Knowledge of exposing and consuming oData V2, V4, and RESTful APIs - Experience with authoring software design, technical documentation, and automation testing - Exposure to all aspects of the software development lifecycle (SDLC) Qualifications required for this role include: - Strong educational qualification with 8-10 years of experience in software development - Expert proficiency in Node.js, handling of data structures, and SQL script - Good to have: BTP, CAP, Proficiency in UI technologies like JavaScript, Angular JS, CSS, jQuery - Good to have: SAPUI5, Fiori Elements - Understanding of Component and E2E testing, automated testing tools - Ability to author software design, technical documentation, and automation test - Good to have: Exposure to all aspects of the software development lifecycle (SDLC) - Customer-facing experience - Understanding of test-driven development (TDD) - Knowledge of Domain Driven Design At SAP, you will be part of a highly collaborative, caring team environment with a strong focus on learning and development.
