As a Senior Network Engineer at Equiniti Group, you will be responsible for a combination of implementation/installation and operational support for the network estate and Data Centres. Working with multi-vendor technologies such as switches (IOS and NX-OS, Junos), routers (ASRs and ISRs), and firewalls (ASA-X, Juniper, and Checkpoint UTM SPLAT), you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth functioning of the network infrastructure. In this role, you will be required to participate in on-call duties for 5 to 7 weeks a year, demonstrating your commitment to ensuring the network's availability and performance. Your key skills should include experience with Public Cloud networking (AWS and Azure), Cloud Connectivity, Cloud firewall, Market place, 3rd party SDx modules, network automation using tools like Terraform and Ansible, and expertise in Cisco Technologies (Routing, switching, VPN) including Cisco Routers, Cisco Firewall Security, Cisco Switches, and Virtual Private Network (VPN) configurations. A good understanding of different WAN technologies, traditional MPLS-like and SD-WAN, along with experience in Juniper and Fortinet Technologies for Firewalls, Routers, Switches, and Wireless Network will be valuable assets in this role. Demonstrating Infrastructure as code and experience with load-balancing technologies such as F5 and KEMP, as well as DNS platforms, will further enhance your capabilities. Desirable qualifications for this position include a minimum of 10 years of experience in the Network field, hands-on expertise in Security platforms, troubleshooting Routing and Switching protocols (BGP, EIGRP, OSPF, STP, HSRP, TCP/IP, IPSEC), as well as strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills. Possessing certifications like CCNP, ITIL v3 Foundation or Advanced, Graduate Degree B.Sc. or equivalent, and F5 Certified would be advantageous. To be successful in this role, we're seeking the following: Bachelor's or Master's degree in computer science engineering, or electronics and communications engineering, or related discipline, or equivalent work experience is required. Work schedule of this role isNIGHT shift from 07:30PM to 03:30AM (IST) on permanent basis. Minimum 7 to 10 years of work experience in Network Security, or equivalent Information Security domain is required. Strong knowledge and experience in Network Security domain, protocols, principles, and practices are required. Experience in building, configuring, troubleshooting at least one network firewall such as Palo Alto Networks Firewall, CheckPoint Firewall, Juniper Firewall, Fortigate, or Cisco ASA is required. Experience with at least one Security Web Gateway/Internet Proxy such as BlueCoat Proxy, Zscaler Security Web Gateway, McAfee Web Gateway is preferred. Experience with security policy orchestration tool such as Skybox, AlgoSec, Tufin SecureTrack, or FireMon is preferred. Minimum one certification in network, or network security, or public cloud security is required. Expose to public cloud platforms such as Azure, Google Cloud Platform (GCP), Amazon Web Services (AWS), related tools and technologies such as Microsoft Cloud Application Security (MCAS) andWiz.iois an advantage. Should have expert and in-depth knowledge of Complex IP Networks. Familiarity with operational aspects of cybersecurity best practices and industry standards. Cloud Security Experience : Should have dealt with firewall migrations from on-prem to any cloud Implementation of cloud security - Azure, Aws or GCP Operational knowledge of Azure Managed Defender & Microsoft Purview.
