Cloud Engineering - Lead Engineer

You will be joining FICO, a leading global analytics software company, as an AWS Cloud Engineer. In this role, you will work in a fast-paced state-of-the-art Cloud environment, focusing on the migration of existing products and development of new products within the cloud platform. As a key member of the VP, Cloud Engineering team, you will have the opportunity to contribute in various ways: - Designing, maintaining, and expanding infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaaC). - Managing systems and resources for alerting, logging, backups, disaster recovery, and monitoring. - Collaborating with software engineering teams to build fault-tolerant and resilient services. - Enhancing the performance and durability of CI/CD pipelines. - Prioritizing security in all aspects of the work. - Being available for on-call duties to support engineering projects. To qualify for this role, you should have a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent experience. Additionally, you should possess: - Strong experience in designing and implementing automated solutions. - Leadership skills to act as a tech lead and drive projects. - 8+ years of relevant experience in the cloud domain. - Hands-on experience with AWS or other cloud providers. - Proficiency in distributed systems, container orchestration, and CI/CD pipelines. - Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code tools like Terraform or Crossplane. - Knowledge of scripting languages such as Python, Ruby, or Bash. - Experience with monitoring and logging tools like Splunk.
