Role Overview: You will be working as a Domain Architect at SKF, where you will be responsible for having a holistic understanding of the cloud domain and creating an efficient community within it. Your role will involve collaborating with different areas to define solutions, driving the architect community, assessing technical choices, researching and proposing changes to technologies, and providing guidance to development teams. You will work towards enabling synergies across the domain and represent the domain in enterprise architect discussions. Key Responsibilities: - Assess the current digital landscape and architecture - Collaborate with different areas to define solutions - Drive the architect community within the domain - Assess the impact of technical choices - Research and propose changes to technologies - Investigate frameworks and tech-stacks - Describe application modules and interactions - Consider scalability, maintenance, and security - Assess risks in third-party frameworks - Provide guidance and tools to development teams - Work to enable synergies across the domain - Define frameworks, processes, and governance structures - Represent the domain in enterprise architect discussions Qualification Required: - 2+ years of proven leadership capabilities with the ability to engage and motivate others - 4+ years of experience in complex enterprise architectures including data management, connectivity solutions, embedded systems, and other business relative systems - 6+ years of hands-on experience in developing software products using cloud technology - 8+ years of experience in current IT technologies including cloud (Azure & AWS preferred), agile, DevOps - University degree, preferably in computer science or related field - Self-driven and comfortable with ambiguity in work situations - Experience in defining solutions to business needs - Fluency in English, other language skills are a plus - Available within CET time zone - Open to travel if needed for specific activities About the Company: SKF, with operations in India since 1923, is a leading provider of automotive and industrial engineered solutions through its five technology-centric platforms. Roles and Responsibilities: Ability to understand the product and it's architecture to create high quality test plans and automation Provide solution to problems involving cloud platform's IaaS , Networking and Identity components Product and release upgrades & operations handling in complex integrated multi team cloud project Develop suitable test strategies and approaches for complex systems.
