Cloud DevOps Manager

Position Overview
We are seeking a seasonedDevOps and Cloud Infrastructure Managerto join ourEnterprise Systems and Applications Engineering (ESE)team atAutodesk, Bangalore (Hybrid). This role is pivotal in leading our cloud operations, ensuring infrastructure scalability, reliability, and security across multi-cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP). You will drive best practices in automation, cost optimization, and team leadership while working cross-functionally to support business-critical applications and services.

Key Roles and Responsibilities:

• Leadincident management,root cause analysis (RCA), andresolutionfor cloud infrastructure-related issues

• Overseecloud provisioning,auto-scaling, anddecommissioningusing modern automation tools

• Manage and mentor aCloud Operations team, driving excellence in cloud and infrastructure practices

• Architect and implementmulti-cloud strategiesacross AWS, Azure, and GCP platforms

• ChampionInfrastructure as Code (IaC)using tools like Terraform, Pulumi, or AWS CloudFormation

• Own and enhanceCI/CD pipelinesusing Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or equivalent tools

• Collaborate with application, security, and platform teams to align infrastructure with product and compliance needs

• Define and enforce best practices inmonitoring,alerting,logging, andincident response

• Drivecloud cost optimizationstrategies and enforce governance across environments

• Automate operational tasks to move towardzero-touch operations

• Lead efforts indisaster recovery,high availability, andperformance tuning

• Design and implement automatedpatchingandOS maintenanceworkflows using tools like AWS SSM or Azure Update Management

• Partner closely with internal teams including Cloud Infrastructure Engineering, Cloud Management, and Application Services for operational support

• Continuously explore and evaluateemerging technologiesfor business alignment and adoption

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science,Engineering, or a related field

• 12+ yearsof overall IT experience, including5+ years in Cloud and leadership roles

• Strong hands-on experience withAWS,Azure, andGoogle Cloud Platform

• Deep expertise in DevOps tooling:Terraform,Ansible,Jenkins/GitLab CI,Docker,Kubernetes

• Proficient in networking, cloudsecurity best practices,IAM, andcompliance frameworks

• Experience inAgile/Scrumenvironments and product-oriented teams

• Proven leadership in scalingDevOps teams, infrastructure strategies, and processes

Preferred Qualifications:

• Master's degree in computer science, Engineering, or related disciplines

• Certifications in AWS (e.g., AWS DevOps Engineer), Azure, or GCP.

• Experience with FinOps tools and implementing cost governance models

• Familiarity with modern observability tools like Datadog, Prometheus, or New Relic

• Experience implementing security controls aligned withISO 27001,SOC2, orHIPAA

• Knowledge ofplatform engineeringand building internal developer platforms
