Position:

Overview:

Key Responsibilities:

Design and develop data mesh, data fabric, and virtualization solutions (Denodo, Starburst, OSS).
Build and optimize data pipelines, integrate disparate systems, and perform federated querying.
Translate business requirements into technical designs and deliver enterprise-grade data solutions.
Implement ETL processes for structured/unstructured data into AWS data lakes/warehouses (Snowflake).
Ensure data quality, governance, and compliance in cloud environments.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams for prototyping, SIT/UAT testing, and deployment.

Requirements:

Bachelors in IT/CS or related field; financial services experience preferred.
5+ years in data engineering, AWS services (Glue, Redshift, EMR, RDS, Kinesis, S3, Athena, DynamoDB, Lambda).
Strong skills in Hive QL, Python, Spark, Scala; expertise in data modeling, database design, and ETL.
Experience with data lakes, warehouses, distributed systems, and performance tuning.
AWS Data specialty certifications a plus.
