Roles & Responsibilities:-Lead a team of robotics engineers and technicians to design, prototype, and develop robotic systems and solutions.-Manage the development lifecycle of robotics projects from initial concept, system design, testing, and deployment.-Collaborate with other engineering teams, including software, hardware, and systems engineering, to ensure the seamless integration of robotics systems.-Ensure that robotics systems meet safety standards, regulatory requirements, and performance specifications.-Drive continuous improvement in robotics system performance, scalability, and cost-effectiveness.-Mentor and coach team members, providing guidance and fostering a culture of innovation and problem-solving.-Manage project timelines, resources, and budgets to ensure successful and on-time delivery of robotics projects.-Develop and implement testing protocols for robotic systems to ensure functionality, reliability, and safety.-Stay up to date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and advancements in robotics to help guide the team toward best practices.-Work with product management and other stakeholders to define product requirements and align the robotics development efforts with business goals.-Provide technical leadership and resolve complex engineering challenges throughout the development process.-Oversee the documentation of engineering designs, processes, and specifications.Professional & Technical Skills: -Bachelor's or Master's degree in Robotics, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.-10+ years of experience in robotics development.-Strong knowledge of robotic hardware, sensors, actuators, and control systems.-Experience with robotics programming languages such as ROS (Robot Operating System), Python, C++, or similar.-Proficiency in robotic simulation tools and CAD software.-Familiarity with machine learning, computer vision, and AI technologies applied to robotics is a plus.-Proven experience managing and leading cross-functional teams.-Excellent problem-solving skills and a hands-on approach to project management.-Strong communication skills and ability to present complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.-Experience in developing and managing budgets and timelines for engineering projects.-Knowledge of industry standards, safety regulations, and compliance requirements in robotics.Additional Info:- The Candidate should have experience with industrial automation or robotic manufacturing systems, as well as familiarity with cloud computing and data analytics in the context of robotics.- This position is based at our Bengaluru office.- A 15 years full time education is required.
