Technical Responsibilities Cloud Strategy & Architecture: Lead the design and implementation of scalable, secure, and reliable cloud infrastructure on AWS. Architect and deploy multi-tier applications in the cloud using services such as EC2, Lambda, S3, RDS, DynamoDB, and VPC. Implement a multi-cloud or hybrid cloud architecture, integrating AWS with on-premises or other cloud providers. Cloud Automation & Engineering: Oversee the automation of cloud infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like CloudFormation, Terraform, and AWS CDK. Implement continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines using Jenkins, AWS CodePipeline, and CodeBuild to ensure fast and reliable deployments. Design and manage containerized workloads using ECS, EKS (Kubernetes), and Fargate for microservices-based applications. Security & Compliance: Enforce cloud security best practices by implementing and managing IAM policies, security groups, VPC network security, AWS WAF, and other security services. Ensure compliance with industry regulations (e.g., HIPAA, GDPR, PCI-DSS) by setting up secure data protection mechanisms such as encryption, data masking, and logging. Develop strategies for cloud threat detection and incident response using AWS Security Hub, GuardDuty, and CloudTrail. Cloud Cost Optimization: Monitor cloud usage and optimize cloud infrastructure for performance and cost efficiency using tools like AWS Cost Explorer, Trusted Advisor, and Auto Scaling. Implement cloud financial management practices such as resource tagging, budget alerts, and cost analysis. Data & Analytics: Implement data pipelines, data lakes, and real-time streaming data architectures using AWS Glue, Redshift, Kinesis, and Athena to support data-driven decision-making.
