Cloud Architect, DevOps

As a Cloud Architect and DevOps professional with hands-on coding experience in Python, Ruby, and Go, you will play a crucial role in a global team as a Technical Architect/Senior Technical Consultant. With 12-16 years of experience, your primary focus will be on DevOps activities, with a work ratio of 70% coding in Python, Ruby, Go, and 30% managerial responsibilities. In this role, you will be part of a devops extreme programming team responsible for engineering and supporting various cloud-based core services, driving significant changes within the company. Your key responsibilities will include ensuring the AWS platform's supportability, flexibility, and alignment to the original design principles. You will provide 3rd line operational platform support for all AWS services and environments, actively engage in all areas of Cloud Operations, collaborate closely with other Cloud Engineers, and engineer innovative solutions to address challenges. To excel in this position, you should have 12-16 years of industry experience and possess strong development or infrastructure engineering skills. Your expertise in creating and managing continuous delivery pipelines, guiding others on architectural and strategic initiatives, and embracing TDD and software engineering as a craft will be essential. Additionally, your exposure to networking, virtualization, security, and mentoring capabilities will be valuable in this role. To stand out, you should demonstrate strong knowledge of XP practices, a keen interest in personal development, and familiarity with Layer 2-7 networking principles, load balancers, IP addressing, firewalls, and SDNs. Knowledge of Information Security, Data Privacy, and regulatory compliance will be advantageous.
