CLIO LAM , a leader in premium Acrylic Laminates and Charcoal Louvers, is expanding, and we're seeking a driven and experienced professional to join us as an Assistant/Deputy Manager - Business Development (Project Sales). About the Opportunity This pivotal role focuses on project-based sales, requiring you to cultivate key relationships and ensure our high-quality products are specified and utilized in commercial projects. We're hiring in Siliguri, Bhubaneshwar, Kolkata, Hyderabad and other locations. Your Core Responsibilities Will Include: * Building Strategic Relationships: Forge and nurture long-term connections with influential decision-makers in commercial projects, including Architects, Interior Designers, Project Management Consultants (PMCs), and Contractors. Your primary goal will be to secure product specifications. * Driving Sales Closure: Collaborate effectively with contractors to finalize sales once our products have been specified by architects. * Channel Partner Engagement: Work hand-in-hand with our sales team and channel partners to manage pricing and ensure the seamless delivery of specified products to project sites. * On-Site Verification: Conduct regular site visits to confirm that our specified products are being applied correctly and according to guidelines. * Data Management: Meticulously record all visit data within our CRM system. * Team Collaboration: Partner closely with our channel team to achieve shared sales objectives. * High-Volume Engagement: Maintain a rigorous schedule of 7-9 customer visits per day. Who We're Looking For: * Educational Background: A Graduate degree is essential, with an MBA in Sales & Marketing being a strong advantage. * Industry Experience: A minimum of 5+ years of experience within the Building Material sector is required. We're particularly interested in candidates with experience in products like acrylic laminates, charcoal louvers/wickets, exterior WPC, or similar exterior louver systems. * Sales Acumen: Proven experience in B2B sales or a strong background in engaging directly with Interior Designers and Architects. * Local Market Expertise: You must have a demonstrated track record of working successfully within the specified territories/markets. * Relationship Builder: Exceptional skills in developing and maintaining professional relationships. * Communication Prowess: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and the local language are critical. * Personal Attributes: A pleasant and confident demeanor, coupled with effective team management abilities. * Tech Savvy: Basic computer proficiency is a must, including the ability to utilize analytics and advanced features in MS Excel. * Mobility: You must own a 2-wheeler or 4-wheeler for commuting and possess a smartphone.
