Clinical Research Training Program (CRTP) Fellow

The CRTP fellowship position is available at KEM Hospital Research Centre as a part of the prestigious RespINDNet network funded by Wellcome DBT India Alliance focusing on viral respiratory infections among children. As a CRTP fellow, you will be involved in community-based and hospital-based studies to understand the epidemiology of viral respiratory infections in children under five. Your role will be integral to the ongoing RespINDNet project, allowing you to develop independent research proposals and publish research papers based on the collected data and biorepository. Additionally, you will have the opportunity to participate in coursework provided by experienced faculties within and outside the RespINDNet network. Your responsibilities will include developing research proposals in collaboration with other sites, writing research papers related to RespINDNet, supporting data collection and coordination of study activities, traveling to field sites in rural Pune, completing coursework for the CRTP program, and assisting in data analysis for the RespINDNet project. These tasks are designed to enhance your research portfolio in the field of infectious diseases by the end of the three-year tenure. The position is based at Vadu Budruk Village, Taluka Shirur, Dist Pune (Vadu Rural Health Program, KEM Hospital Research Centre, Pune) and KEM Hospital Research Centre, Sardar Moodliar Road, Rasta Peth, Pune. Applicants should hold an MBBS or higher degree in medicine, with a preference for candidates with publications in peer-reviewed journals and at least 12 years of research experience.
