Clinical Psychologist for school

Location: Kandivili -E

No. of days: 2 days in a week - Every Wednesday and Friday

Time: 11 am - 2 pm every Wednesday and Friday

Place: School

Qualification: Registered Counsellor having RCI number (OR having applied for it)

Scope of Services: The school counsellor will provide the following services:

• One-on-one counselling: Support for students facing personal or academic challenges.
• Group sessions/workshops: On stress management, peer pressure, self-esteem, and conflict resolution.
• Crisis intervention: Support in the event of trauma, loss, or other urgent mental health issues.
• Communication material

Collaboration with teachers and parents: Working together to create a comprehensive support network for students.Connecting students with external mental health professionals when needed.

Certain responsibilities will FALL OUTSIDE the SCOPE of a school counsellor's professional role. Such as;

· Diagnosing Psychological Disorders - identify signs of distress and refer students, but they will not be mandated to diagnose clinical conditions (like ADHD, anxiety, or depression) – that's the role of psychologists or psychiatrists.

· Long-Term Therapy or Clinical Counselling

· Disciplinary Action or Enforcement

· Teaching Full Academic Courses

· Performing Administrative or Clerical Duties

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: ₹14,000.00 - ₹18,000.00 per month

Expected hours: 6 per week
