The Ambulatory Clinic RN in Family Medicine at College Point Medical Pavilion holds the authority, responsibility, and shift accountability for providing nursing care following the nursing process. As a Registered Nurse (RN), you are entrusted with applying competent clinical knowledge, exercising independent nursing judgment, and ensuring quality patient care outcomes through care provided both by yourself and by delegated healthcare providers. Minimum qualifications for this role include being a high school graduate, holding an Associate Degree in Nursing, and having at least 6 months of RN experience. To be considered for the Ambulatory Clinic RN position on a PRN basis, you must have 2 or more years of RN experience. A Bachelor's Degree in Nursing is preferred. You are required to hold a valid Registered Nurse license, either multi-state or single-state, in good standing with the State Board of Nursing. If hired before 2/1/2024, you must obtain a multistate RN license from the state in which you reside before your next RN license renewal by 3/31/2026. Additionally, having a current Basic Life Support Heartsaver certification from the American Heart Association or obtaining one within 14 days of employment is mandatory.
