Job Description

As a Customer Relationship Manager/Customer Success Manager/Customer Account Manager with 4-8 years of experience, you will be responsible for hosting regularly scheduled Service Review meetings for US-based clients in Chennai. Your main duties will include providing updates on status, progress, and resolution timelines for all open issues related to applications or operations. It is crucial for you to prioritize and escalate client issues according to their business needs, serving as the liaison between the client and CGI teams to prevent service-related escalations or complaints. In addition to your regular responsibilities, you will also take on the role of Escalation Manager on a rotating basis to handle critical or urgent issues, providing necessary phone support. Managing multiple clients and prioritizing tasks based on urgency and impact will be essential, requiring flexibility in supporting clients across different US time zones. To excel in this role, you must have experience in customer support or a similar client-facing position. Familiarity with at least one ERP system such as SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, or Microsoft Dynamics is a must. Proficiency in using ERP software and understanding its core modules (finance, HR, inventory, procurement, etc.) is required, along with hands-on experience in troubleshooting and resolving ERP-related issues. Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities are necessary, as well as the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users. While it is a plus to have database knowledge (e.g., SQL) for issue diagnosis, familiarity with cloud-based ERP platforms is increasingly important.
