As a Java Full Stack Lead Developer at Dedalus, you will utilize your extensive experience in modern web development, backend technologies, and cloud infrastructure to make a profound impact in the healthcare sector. You will take ownership of complex projects, mentor junior developers, optimize existing systems, and contribute to new feature development. Your role will involve designing and implementing backend solutions using Java and Python, with additional experience in PHP and the Laravel Framework being a plus. You will also be responsible for developing and maintaining scalable front-end applications using Angular, as well as leading development efforts and deployments using CI/CD pipelines, GitHub Actions, Docker, and Kubernetes (K8s). Working with databases such as PostgreSQL, MSSQL, and cloud databases to ensure optimal performance and security will be a key aspect of your responsibilities. Integration of ClickHouse DB and Apache Airflow for data processing and analytics would be advantageous. Additionally, deploying and managing applications in OpenShift (OKD/OCP) and other cloud environments will be part of your role. Mentoring junior engineers, contributing to best practices, and participating in code reviews will also be essential in this position. To succeed in this role, you should have a good number of years of experience in Java full-stack development, proficiency in backend development using Java and Python (Laravel, PHP experience is a nice-to-have), strong knowledge of Angular, TypeScript, JavaScript, CSS3/HTML5, experience with CI/CD tools like GitHub Actions, Git Runner, Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift, and strong database experience with SQL (PostgreSQL, MSSQL, or cloud DBs). Desirable requirements include familiarity with ClickHouse DB, Apache Airflow, excellent communication and teamwork skills, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to lead projects.
