Conducting onload and offload testing, synchronization, and commissioning procedures, and preparing comprehensive reports. Preventive Maintenance & Testing: Performing scheduled preventive maintenance tasks like oil/filter changes, cooling/fuel system checks, battery tests, and control setting calibration. Running load-bank tests, voltage changeovers, and vibration/thermal analysis to ensure system performance. Diagnostics & Repair: Troubleshooting mechanical (engine, fuel, cooling) and electrical (alternator, control, wiring) issues using diagnostic tools and schematics. Replacing faulty parts, rewiring relays/regulators, and servicing alternator/exciter. Documentation & Reporting: Maintaining detailed service logs documenting maintenance, parts replacement, test results, inspection reports, and commissioning documentation. Communicating findings and recommendations with engineers, supervisors, and clients. Safety & Compliance: Adhering to lockout/tagout, PPE procedures, and safety/hazard assessments as per industry standards. Handling hazardous fluids, batteries, and waste responsibly.
