Position / Role Naval Architect / Senior position Division Plan Approval Centre Location: Head Office -Mumbai Job Description The position will include tasks related to plan approval towards Classification and Statutory requirements for various types of vessels including Evaluation & Review of hull & stability to ensure they conform to established standards and regulations. Support on job training of Surveyors. Required Skills Strong understanding of ship stability, marine systems, and ship construction practices. Familiarity with classification rules and statutory regulations (SOLAS, MARPOL, Load Line, etc.). Proficiency with CAD software and basic structural/hydrostatic analysis tools. Qualification & Experience Naval Architecture with Knowledge and experience in Class Rules, Materials, Welding, Ship Types, Structural Analysis and Statutory Regulations. Experience: Ship Design, Shipbuilding and/or Offshore. Class experience is preferable. Experience: Minimum 12 years Show more Show less
