You should have in-depth knowledge related to Jigs & Fixtures (Welding) design and development. You must be capable of executing Fixture design from scratch to the end of delivery, including creating 3D Models & 2D Drawings. Knowledge of Robotic welding is considered an added advantage. It is essential to develop Multiple Fixture concepts and select Standard parts such as Bearings, Clamps, Cylinders, Motors, LM guides, Extrusions, Pins, etc., supported by Calculations. Sound Knowledge of Manual Clamping, Pneumatic, and Hydraulic clamping is required. Exposure to Pneumatic and hydraulic circuits will be beneficial. Proficiency in Solid Works Part, Assembly, Sheetmetal Modelling is necessary. Basic Knowledge of Solid Works Macros, Static Analysis, Motion study, Rendering is an added advantage. A strong understanding of GD&T and Tolerance Stack up is expected. Implementation of Poka-Yoke concepts in the Design of Jigs & Fixtures is crucial. The job is located in Coimbatore and requires 5 to 10 Years of experience in Jigs & Fixtures. Solidworks Tool knowledge is a must. A BE-Mechanical degree is required for this position.
