You will collaborate with insurance companies to secure pre-authorizations, approvals, and maintain accurate documentation. Responding to inquiries, clarifications, and information requests from insurance providers will be an essential part of your role. Handling claim denials, re-submissions, and drafting justification letters with precise clinical input will be crucial. Maintaining proper documentation through email and hospital systems, liaising with treating consultants for essential clinical details, and ensuring compliance with insurance policies and hospital SOPs are key aspects of the job. Additionally, close coordination with billing, admission, and discharge teams will be required for the timely processing of insurance-related tasks.
